No. I can successfully ping
"localhost", but nothing else; cannot ping
other equipment inside my network nor internet IPs.
What does "ifconfig" look like?
Maybe this one helps:
Open /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules and delete anything
beside the comments. Restart the virtual machine and check "ifconfig"
again.
